Awesome poles that have made a huge difference for me on the trail!

Trekking poles are one of those things you don't realize are necessary until you start using them, and then try hiking without them. The Taalo poles have been a great set of poles to use. I've put nearly 100 miles on mine since getting them and they have held up really well. I've used them in just about every setting you'd expect to use a trekking pole, hiking, trail running, skiing, setting up tarps, setting up tents, hanging lanterns, and a makeshift monopod for my camera. The Taalo poles are just fantastic. I haven't really experienced any issues with mine other than the flick lock screw coming loose when I am hiking with them really hard, but it's really not an issue. Just a quick tighten and you're good to go. Something that is nice about them, but I honestly don't use very often is the anti shock system in the handle. It's really easy to engage, but I just find that I don't use it as often as I thought I would. The cork grips are nice because they absorb sweat really nice and allow you to keep a solid grip on the poles, especially when coming down steep trails. Overall they are a really nice pole!
