OVERVIEW
The Maxfield is our flagship goggle featuring new Fenom™ technology. Fenom™ is a light filtration technology similar to other high end goggles in the industry. This tech provides enhanced contrast and light filtration to improve visibility and performance on the mountain. The frame is flexible and uniquely low-profile which adds a better seal and more warmth inside the goggle. The lens is a toric shape which adds greater visibility top to bottom with total optical accuracy. Lenses can be swapped on the fly thanks to our magnetic connections and secure clip locking system. Every pair comes with two lenses to ensure you're ready for any light condition.

Lenses are easy to swap out. The frame is flexible and designed to be low profile. This flexibility needs to be kept in mind during a lens swap. If your lens isn't seating properly, just pull down slightly on the nose bridge area. This is the most likely place for the lens to remain unseated when swapping.
Make sure to keep your goggle and spare lens in the protective cloth carrying bag. Dry them thoroughly with a soft, non-abrasive cloth before storing.

FENOM™ TECHNOLOGY
Maxfield is the flagship model in our snow goggles collection and the first to feature Fenom™ lens technology. Fenom™ technology optimizes light management, optical accuracy, and field of view. Snow sports create unique light conditions because of highly reflective and rapidly changing conditions. Light needs to be filtered and managed to give users the best visibility possible. The toric lens shape of Maxfield goggles helps produce optical accuracy and top-to-bottom vision while still maintaining a wide periphery. This is a high performance model for users looking to progress and look good doing it!
UNDERSTANDING VLT
VLT, or Visible Light Transmission, is the amount of light allowed into a lens. Higher VLT ratings allow more light in and are good for cloudy or darker conditions. Lower VLT ratings allow less light in and help protect you against too much bright light on sunny days. Every pair of Maxfield goggles come with both a high and low VLT lens in the package so you'll be prepared no matter the conditions. Lenses can be easily swapped out as the frame/lens is magnetic with a simple clip lock.
LIGHT SPECTRUM MANAGEMENT
Maximizing vibrancy and contrast is achieved by selective filtration of the color light spectrum. Through selective filtration, contrast and vibrancy will help better define terrain in snowy conditions that can quickly become visibly flat. Three key metrics help produce the ability to manipulate the light spectrum that boost contrast and vibrancy. The main markers are found at 450nm, 550nm and 650nm. FENOM™ lenses filters out harmful UVA and UVB light and suppresses visible low frequency UV light.
