Waited to use my 28" Delano X2 snowshoes until the weather warmed up to 6 degrees F. I almost put on my very old Lands End Snow Walkers because they were like and old friend, but thinking I should try the new, on went the Delanos. First try I was not real happy. Bindings were the issue. Rubber was not very flexible in the cold, especially the heel strap. Getting them on/off was an issue. Since then the weather has warmed and we've been out maybe 15 times for 2-3 mile hikes. Just came back from snowshoeing 100 mile north of Duluth, MN and the Delanos are now my new best friend. The bindings are a real nice upgrade and very easy to use... now. Just took me a few tries.
Also, the size and weight of these snowshoes are real nice. I'm 175# and they have worked very well for me. Enjoy!
